Director
Born and bred in North London, Bruce is a veteran tax professional, with over thirty years’ experience in the world of personal tax. He began his working life at the Inland Revenue (as it then was) in January 1982 and, after five years as a civil servant, has spent the intervening period working for firms of varying size within the private sector.
Bruce is involved in advising individuals and trusts on all aspects of their tax affairs, with a particular emphasis on compliance with the Self Assessment system and planning for tax mitigation. He also advises on non-resident landlord companies, with regard to tax liabilities on UK rental income. Bruce, who is a member of the Association of Tax Technicians, especially enjoys the process of getting to know clients and their wider financial circumstances, with a view to providing the best possible service.
Outside of the office, Bruce is an avid football fan, being a long-standing season ticket holder at Tottenham Hotspur. His other interests include music, reading, cycling, rugby league and live comedy. In the recent past he has discovered a hitherto untapped talent for drawing, which he hopes to develop into his dotage!
